Below are a collection of ideas I use in creating images, otherwise you can skip to some images below.
In the meantime, I don’t use “ad-speak” or flowery talk, so these are short and to the point. If you agree with them, perhaps we can do great work together.

The most important part of my job is to make an image that makes you look the best you can be. (The “You only had one job” principle.)

Bespoke is the way to go, otherwise you can get average images just about anywhere.

You enjoy the process of making great images that start with planning and forethought, although you can change direction to take advantage of an unseen moment.

You want more than a snapshot, trendy or selfie styled image.

You prefer images that are full of emotion and depth, and that stand the test of time.

Classic imagery is the “slow food” of photography, and is to be savored and enjoyed while making.

You understand that great photography does not have to be extremely expensive or come cheap, and you do appreciate the work and artistry that goes into production.

Here you can get a small taste of my work. Please understand that for the following categories, some great images, for various reasons (privacy, mostly) are not available on the Internet, but I am allowed to show you prints.

Out of the ordinary.
Sometimes I get inspired and create an entirely new aspect to your session.
I’ll take an image, make it look like a painting and incorporate various elements from the session.
These creations are serendipitous, I can present them to you after the session.

Artwork unique to you.
After viewing your session we can talk about creating a composite, and if you are interested, I can work on one for you.

I don’t do your typical headshot. In fact I really don’t do typical headshots where it is just an image of you on a plain background that takes only minutes. I’ll do images for your webpage, brochure, poster and such where there is a bit more creativity involved.
I don’t do product shoots anymore either. Too fussy and not much fun.
If the shoot is not fun, I’m not really interested.
I’m also not interested in shooting for “exposure” or providing a free service. Unless the shoot is an all expenses trip to an exotic location shooting some A-list person, then I might be interested. Or maybe for a charitable organization. Depends on the objective.
