Booking Appointments:

I charge $250 retainer to book a session. If in the event of a no-show, the full retainer amount ($250) will be charged against your credit card. In the unlikely event that your session does not produce any images, you may re-book again, at no additional cost. Included in the retainer is a $120 purchase credit to be used during the purchase process.

I do not use high pressure tactics to get you to purchase. No bait and switch. My images stand on their own and make their own statement.

Appointments may be in a location of your choice (your home, large space, park, favorite place) or a rented location. Rental locations, studio bookings, Boutique Inns, parks, etc may require a location retainer to book the date and time and a credit card will be required to cover the cost.

All location retainers are forfeit upon cancellation or no-show of a paid location. In some circumstances location sessions may be re-booked depending upon the policy of the location. Most locations required 24-48 hours advance notice to change arrangements.

Albums:

Album pricing is based on a 10 spread (20 pages) and the number of images per side. The price includes post processing, layout and one proof review. Your choice of manufacturer, size and style of the album determines the final price.

Prints:

Various styles of prints are available.
For artist prints up to 16″x20″ I print personally using commercial grade archival particle Epson inks and special papers.
Larger images, some canvas and specialty finishes are printed by trade-only manufacturers.
I use professionally sourced providers for my prints that are not available to the general public.

Digital Images:

A web-sized copy of a purchased print is included as a digital image.
Digital images are available separately.
Most people think that they can get images printed cheaper themselves and wonder why digital images are priced significantly higher than prints. It is not the paper you are buying, but the development and artistic interpretation.
If you want I’ll discount you the cost of the paper. For example, a regular sheet of 8×10 matte paper sells for around $0.50. With the digital image, you can print as many 8x10s as you want, but you still have to pay for the work and talent taken to create the image. However, you will not get the same colour balance, interpretation or fine look from a professional print. Not to mention the longevity of the print.

Other:

Reasonable travel within the GTA is included.
It is unlikely, but if you do not like the results of the session, we can reschedule a re-shoot at your convenience.

I am fun to work with, have a (bad?) sense of humour and am a bit eccentric, but I know how to use a camera on manual with off camera flash, studio flash or just natural light.

Contact me a and we will see what we can create together.
