What Kind Help Do You Give?
Just as a good movie needs a good script, so does a good photo session. Let’s discuss your thoughts and expectations beforehand. A reasonable amount of forethought goes into creating great images. Don’t worry, I’ll help guide you through the process, it’s my job as photographer to work out the details. Your concern is making sure you’ll look great on the day.
What Session Styles Do I Offer?
I prefer a classic style approach which holds up over generations. Fads come and go and can become dated and sometimes just embarrassing years later. Which does not mean I don’t explore different settings, lighting, techniques and ideas.
Where Do Sessions Take Place?
I have done sessions at home in front rooms, basements, backyards, parks, photo studios, dance studios, gyms, hotels, condos, streets and pretty much anywhere you can set up. We can discuss your requirements and I’ll help you pick a solution.
What Should I Wear?
Let’s discuss your make-up and wardrobe requirements as part of the overall session. How you appear in the photographs depends on what outcome you would like. It’s my job to help you select clothing and props.
Do You Do Creative Images?
Yes, I can create special images for you by as choosing the right camera angle, lens, and lighting as well as how you are positioned. I can also manipulate the image by substituting backgrounds, adding overlays, special effects and text as required to produce a work of art for you.
Do You Provide Just Digital Negatives?
I do not deliver just digital images, but included with each purchase is a social media sized digital file you can use. I believe the best experience is through actual physical prints and albums that will last for years. Long after your phone, computer, tablet and on-line subscriptions have passed their life time, you’ll still have these physical reminders of your life moments well into old age. Prints and albums require no electricity to run or subscriptions to pay on an on-going basis. You’ll be able to pass these archival materials to your children for free, no other equipment required.
What Is Your Pricing?
I believe I provide a reasonable price for my service by creating artwork you will enjoy through my personal attention to you. I am not the cheapest, a budget, nor the highest priced photographer. You will find that my images will be well worth the price for you.
